Ruth Ann (Davis) Owsiany

Ruth Ann Owsiany, 76, of Lawton, passed away August 9, 2022 at her home, following a short battle with cancer. She was born to the late Milton and Louise (Dillenbeck) Davis in 1945, in Paw Paw. Ruth had two siblings, Melvin Davis and Janet Hall. She was united in marriage to John Owsiany and the couple had two children, Jeffrey and Jeanne and two grandchildren, Alex and Isaac. The couple began their family in Lawton, where they had a beautiful and successful farm. One of Ruth's greatest achievements was her 90 beef cow herd and state of the art calving facility. When she was not managing her hurd, she could be found out with the harvest crew putting up feed.

Ruth is survived by her husband John Owsiany, her son, Jeffrey Owsiany of Lawton, daughter, Jeanne (John) Sharpe of Paw Paw, and two grandchildren; Alex and Isaac Houdek of Paw Paw, along with one brother, Melvin Davis of Hartford.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this time.
