Clyde Yancey, 85, of Lawton, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at his home.
He was born June 9, 1934 in Monkeys Eyebrow, KY, the son of the late Dennis and Ora (Crabtree) Yancey.
Clyde retired from the Kalamazoo General Motors plant where he was employed as a tool & die maker. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Yancey, daughter, Melanie (David) Diehm, two sons, Larry (Janice) Yancey and Charles (Christine) Yancey, six grandchildren, Nathan (Serena) Diehm, Abbey (Bill) Zachar, Phillip Yancey, Emily Yancey, Jordan Yancey, Taylor Yancey, seven great grandchildren, four step-sons, Loren (Susan) Bradshaw, Mark Bradshaw, Calvin (Monique) Bradshaw, Anthony Bradshaw; step-daughter, Connie (Carl) Pond; 10 step-grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Clyde was preceded in death by his grandchild, Jessica Yancey, brothers, Bobbye Yancey, Rommey Yancey and his sister, Molly Sanford.
There will be no public services held for Clyde at this time.
