Violeta passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the home of her daughter. She was born January 14, 1952 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the daughter of Ramon and Virginia (Sanchez) Guerra. Violeta was employed at St. Julian Winery in Paw Paw and enjoyed quilting, gardening, especially roses, and spoiling her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lorenzo in 2007. She is survived by nine children, Flor (Jorge) Gonzalez of Lawrence, Lorenzo Jr. (Veronica) Moreno of South Haven, Josefina Moreno, Maria (Gary) Schaeffer, Claudia Moreno and Jennifer Moreno, all of Bangor, Andrea (Bertin) Estrada of Arcadia, FL, Vanessa Moreno and Lorena Moreno, also both of Bangor; 28 grandchildren; 5 brothers and a sister; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, Rev. Fr. Robert Flickinger, officiating. Interment will take place immediately following the services at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Kalamazoo.
