Timothy Jon Palmer

Timothy Jon Palmer, 64, of Gobles, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.

He was born September 21, 1959, in Grand Rapids, the son of Clayton Dale Palmer and Frances Pauline (Rich) Palmer.

Timothy was an avid sports fan and enjoyed just about every sport. His favorites included football, hockey and most of all, rugby. He played rugby in his younger years. Every weekend, you could find Tim painting the rugby fields in Kalamazoo, to make sure they were ready for the next game. He coached wrestling and attended many of his children's sporting events, as their biggest fan. He embraced being a wrestling and cheer dad. Timothy also enjoyed hunting, woodworking and working on his cars.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years; Diane (Betts) Palmer, son; Shane (Justice) Palmer, daughter; Lauren (Jacob Bolhuis) Palmer, brother; Dean (Mary) Palmer and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends are invited to visit and share their cherished memories of Timothy on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Ave. Sharing of memories will begin at 11:30 a.m.
