Tom passed away Christmas Eve, 2011 at white Oak in Lawton. He was born September 23, 1930 in Waverly Township, Michigan the son of the late Michael and Margaret (Bryla) Czuhajewski. In 1949 he broke the Paw Paw High School track record for the mile in his senior year. Tom was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by the Remington Construction Company until his retirement. Tom enjoyed raising fruit and Vegetable for family and friends in his spare time. He had a great love for the outdoors and with his K-9 companions. He enjoyed using his special talents of drawing and painting portraits and outdoor scenes. Surviving are a brother, John (Mary) Czuhajewski of Paw Paw, two sister, Cecelia (Gene) Roberts and Theresa Kapka both of Kalamazoo; many nieces and nephews; special friend Chip. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Steve, Stanley, Joseph, Frank and Adam Czuhajewski and three sister, Mary Czuhajewski, Lottie Warner, and Genevieve Dzialowski. Family will receive friends Wednesday (12/28) 4-7 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 11a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Joseph Xavier celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Paw Paw with military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church and Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
