Therman "Buddy" Preston

July 2, 1955 — September 27, 2020

Paw Paw

Therman (Buddy) Preston, of Paw Paw, MI, was reunited with his beloved wife, Connie (Good) Preston on September 27, 2020. He left this world doing what he loved most, riding his Harley.

He was born on July 2, 1955 in Plant City, FL, the son of James and Virginia Preston. Surviving are his daughter, Becky (Greg) Berndt, and two grandsons, Gregory and Nathan. He worked in construction until he retired and was a proud member of the Michigan Laborers’ Union.

When Buddy wasn’t riding, he loved nothing more than to spend time with his two grandsons. He loved to fish with them and play for hours. He loved watching his grandson, Gregory, play all kinds of sports. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending most of his life fishing and hunting. He loved his family more than anything. And he considered all of his friends family.

He really enjoyed going on motorcycle rides with others. He was always the “Gunner” making sure everyone else was safe ahead. And he rode with everybody, everywhere he went. He was kind and loving, always trying to make everyone smile and laugh.

A celebration of Buddy’s life will be held at a later date.
