Stanley Lavelle Jordan

Stanley Lavelle Jordan, 68, of Paw Paw, passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Bronson Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw.

He was born June 9, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Uressey Stanley Jordan and Hazel (Terry) Jordan who precede him.

Stanley was an extremely hard worker who always made sure his family had everything they needed. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He worked in concrete for many years before going to work inside a factory. Stanley loved to stay active and enjoyed playing pool and golf. Stanley could be found playing softball in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. Most of all, Stanley cherished the time spent with his family and friends. He always kept in touch with his loved ones.

He is survived by the love of his life; Denise (Kimble) Jordan, three daughters; April Tyria, Marcia (Don Lepley) Jordan and Shannon Sterns, two sons; Rex Kimble and William Joseph Jordan, twelve grandchildren; Calista Smith, Jaylee Smith, James Smith, Naomi Merozick, RJ Sterns, Kya Kimble, Austin Kimble, Shane Barkalow, Naomi Barkalow, Hayli Hollister, Emily Jordan and Miceala Mikle two great-grandchildren; Jrue and Emery, two brothers; David and Robert Jordan and Zayden Shirley "Bean".

Stanley was preceded in death by his brother; Bill Joe Jordan, grandson; Jacob Robert Kimble and sister-in-law; Wanda Jordan.

Stanley will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
