Shirley passed away Friday morning, April 20, 2012 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. She was born September 17, 1923 in Benton Harbor the daughter of the late Otto and Pauline (Locke) North. She enjoyed taking care of her home and spending time with her grandchildren. On January 24, 1942 in St. Joseph, MI, Shirley was united in marriage to Elmer A. Pagel who preceded her in death on October 10, 2004. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald North. Surviving are a daughter, Sharon (Rodney) LeTourneau of Lawrence; granddaughter, Jennifer (Michael) Sinkler of Lawrence; grandson, Mark LeTourneau of Benton Harbor; 3 great grandchildren, Anastasia LeTourneau, Riley and Lucas Sinkler; brother, John (Cathy) North of Stevensville. A graveside service will be held Thursday (4/26) 11 a.m. at North Shore Memory Garden in Benton Harbor. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
