Sharron Hope (Baldwin) Covell

Sharron Hope Covell, 78, of Lawton, passed away Thursday May 20, 2021 at her home with her family at her side.

She was born October 9, 1942 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Merton Baldwin and Icey Mae (Miller) Baldwin.

It was no secret that Sharron was all about family. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to family, Sharron had many extended family and friends that would consider her "Mom". She always supported her grandchildren at all of their sporting events over the years. She always had a positive attitude and never had a negative comment. Throughout her life, she enjoyed traveling with family, especially camping trips and boating. Sharron loved the outdoors and pontoon rides in the summers, along with traveling up north to Reed City. She had a special place in her heart for her pets. Sharron was also known for her hard work and having a tidy home. Many will remember her awesome holiday parties that she hosted all during the year.

Sharron met her soul mate, Gerald Covell and after eight years, they married on July 2, 1983.

Sharron is survived by her husband, Gerald Covell, four daughters, Nita (Thomas) Lowe, Tina Hicks, Sandra Wyman and Ashley (Cody) Couch; three sons, Jody E. (Sharon) Wyman, Mark Wyman and Jason (Tricia) Wyman; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one sister, Julie Glazier.

Sharron was preceded in death by her daughter, Wanda Sue Wyman, son, Jesse Wyman, brothers, Joel Baldwin, Jack Baldwin and Tom Baldwin, sisters, Pat Hambright, Sandra Hornbeck and Marlene Snyder.

Cremation will take place. There will be a celebration of life held Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Paw Paw Eagles, 63237 M-40.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or West Michigan Cancer Center.
