The community lost a ray of sunshine on Friday, January 6, 2012. Ryan William Tapper was born on April 6, 1982. He is the youngest child and only son of Bill and Sue Tapper of Paw Paw. Ryan lived and worked in Paw Paw surrounded by family and friends. He graduated in the class of 2001 at PPHS and continued on at KVCC earning his Associate's degree. Ryan loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his friends and his cousins. His siblings include Mary Tapper & Byron DaSilva of Chicago and Elizabeth Tapper & Stewart Rowan of Las Vegas. Ryan will be missed by his friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and his nephew, Oscar. A tribute to Ryan will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 3:30pm at St. Mary's Church in Paw Paw. In honor of Ryan's perspective on life, all are welcome to attend and casual dress is encouraged. For any gifts in memoriam, Ryan and family would be grateful that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the SPCA of Southwest Michigan.
