Rosemary passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo surrounded by her loving family. Rosie was born March 30, 1951 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Antonio and Norma (Scotese) Dacoba. Rosie was a big part of La Cantina, the family business, since childhood and was a dedicated speech therapist working with pre-school aged children for many years. She loved traveling, raising dogs and loved meeting people everywhere she went. Rosie was a very kind hearted and generous woman who loved her Paw Paw community, neighborhood and adored all of her friends and family. On April 28, 1983 in San Jose, CA Rosie was united in marriage to her loving and devoted husband, Peter D'Arienzo, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Christopher (Becca) D'Arienzo; mother, Norma Dacoba; sister, Ava (Roman) Plaszczak; brothers, Tony (Debbie) Dacoba and Emilio (Maria) Dacoba; nieces, Isabella Dacoba and Alicia (Armeen) Parsayar; great nephew, Antonio Parsayar. She was preceded in death by her father. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday (12/4), 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Joseph Xavier and Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan concelebrants. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Southwest Michigan or the Paw Paw Alumni Association.
