Ronald Edward Kendall Sr., (the original Ron Kendall) passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022, at his home. He was born December 19, 1942, in Allegan, Michigan, to Wilbert Harold Kendall and Hazel Pearl (Myers) Kendall. He was married to Mary Kendall on September 1, 2000, in Paw Paw.
He retired from Coca Cola in Paw Paw after 30 years of service. He enjoyed going to car shows with his 1962 Chevy and won many trophies. He loved to just take off on a weekend and go somewhere with no set plans on where to go. He loved working on cars and tractors and spent many hours in his barns. He made a great Coney Sauce and Jerky.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Connie Kendall and Lori (Andy) Gniotczynski, one son, Keith (Patty) Kendall, sister, Peg Hoger, brothers, Bob Kendall, Sr., and Rick Kendall, Sr., grandsons, Jerry Waite, Ron Kendall, III, and Tristan Kendall, granddaughters, Victoria (Trevor) Stratton, Emma Kendall, Jenny and Casey Gniotczynski, great granddaughters, Addie Stratton, Anne Kendall, and Isabell, along with many nieces and nephews and his cat, Sweetie Pie.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Ronald Kendall, Jr. and Steve Kendall, grandson, Matthew, sister, Martha Crawford and brother, John Kendall. Ron loved all of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, with all his heart.
Family and friends will visit Friday, February 4, 2022, beginning at 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. Visitation will also take place Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, where a life celebration will commence at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw.
