Robert Harrison Wolf

Robert Harrison Wolf, 85, of Lawrence, MI, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Timbers of Cass County in Dowagiac.

Robert was born October 14, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Albert and Molly Wolf. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his sister, Doris Montgomery.

Bob proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War, he worked for 20 years at the Chicago City Garage and 27 years at Van Buren County Mental Health, where he was involved in coordinating the Special Olympics. He was a lifetime member of Bangor Free Methodist Church. Bob had a strong faith and read the bible and various devotional books every single day. Bob was a true avid Chicago Bears fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Wolf, grandson, Bohdan Wolf; two step-daughters; Janet McFarland and Vicki Flanagan, nephew, Jim Montgomery; three nieces, Ginny Karch, Pat Brune and Cecelia Hensen; friends; Mike Carlisle; The Mazelins and special friend, Valda McKinney and her daughter, Nicole Bonarski.

Special thank you to both the Timbers in Dowagiac and Heartland Hospice, for their excellent care and compassion shown to Bob.

Cremation will take place. There will be a private graveside service held at a later date.
