Robert (Bob) of Beulah passed away Tuesday December 20, 2011 at Munson Medical Center, Traverse City, MI. He was born November 13th, 1945 in Saint Claire Shores, MI, the son of the late Ernest and Ethel (Shaina) Pullen.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just taking off on a road trip with his wife. He loved to restore old classic vehicles, and worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. He always had a joke for anyone who'd listen.
Bob is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jill (Slagal) Pullen; 2 daughters, Maryla Pullen and Kerri (Dale) Wallace both of Goshen, IN; three grandchildren, Joseph & Brittany Slevatz, Kyler Wallace; 2 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are Bob's siblings; Ernest (Jenny) Pullen of Hemet, CA, Ed Pullen, Lawton, MI, Nancy (Richard) Teremi of Mattawan, MI, Linda (Roy) Carpenter of New York, Cheryl Hager of Texas, Richard Pullen of New York, Susan (Phil) Burns of Paw Paw, and Barbara (John) Hunt of Allegan; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Pullen Jr.; 2 sisters, JoAnn Bankston and Penny Roberts; 2 brothers, Raymond and E. J. Pullen.
Family will receive friends on Friday (12/23) from 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Joe Spackman officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to his wife Jill Pullen.
