Robert Loren Kelley

Robert Loren Kelley, 82, of Paw Paw, MI, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 17, 2020. He was born on January 15, 1938, in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of Robert and Charlotte (Terry) Kelley.

Upon graduating high school, Bob joined the United States Army and served from 1959 to 1963 in Army Troop 059-ASA. On March 18, 1966, he married the love of his life Phyllis and they began their family. He worked at UpJohn as a boiler operator for 45+ years until his retirement in the 1995. Bob enjoyed puzzles, watching political television, car shows and history. In his younger years he had enjoyed cruising in his corvette.

Surviving are his Daughters, Micki Kelley and Penny Hendrickson; Grandchildren, Dennis (Alexis) Hendrickson, Mikaela Hendrickson, Molly Gibson, and Maribelle Gibson; Great-Grandchildren, Noah and Ryan; Sisters, Pauline Lyons, Kathleen Honda, and many other loving family and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 50 years, Phyllis Kelley, and his sister, Joann Kelley.
