Robert G. Gregory

Robert G. Gregory, 97, of Paw Paw, passed away peacefully Monday, March 24, 2025, at White Oaks Assisted Living in Lawton.

He was born July 25, 1927, in Kalamazoo, the son of Joseph E. Gregory and Hazel (McGowan) Gregory.

Bob was a lifelong member of the Van Buren Youth Camp and it was his pride and joy. He loved meeting all the new campers and participating in the fun camp activities. He was also a member of the Boy Scouts for over 20 years and served as a Troop Leader. Bob proudly served our country in the United States Military. In his free time, Bob enjoyed sailing and spending time on the lake behind his house.

He is survived by his son, Steven Gregory; Jean Gregory, daughter, Sandy (Tom Docherty) Gregory; granddaughter, Jill (Terry) Foreman; great-grandson, Ethan Gregory, and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, first and second wives, Patricia (Allen) Gregory and Shirley (Follett) Gregory and son, Mark Allen Gregory, his brother, Joe (Jeri) Gregory and his sister, Laura (Willard) Perigo.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park South in Kalamazoo.
