Robert passed away at home early Tuesday morning, March 15, 2011. He was born August 9, 1956 in Fort Leavenworth, KS, the son of Ralph and Roberta Shatto. Robert spent most of his life in construction. He loved working on cars. He also enjoyed fishing and wildlife, and loved to watch various types of boxing. In 1984, Robert married Ronna (Douglas), who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Ashley Ferrell; a son, Robert Dean Ferrell; a granddaughter, Melody; grandsons Aiden and Joseph Carfield; a brother, Dean Ferrell; a sister, Melody Acher, his step-father, Kenneth Spears and several nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother, Katie Cowley. Family will receive friends Saturday, March 19 from 12:00p.m. to 1:00p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held following the visitation at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at a later date.
