Age: 63
Bob passed away Wednesday morning, September 21, 2011 at the V.A. Medical Center in Battle Creek. He was born September 5, 1948 in Paw Paw the son of the late Robert L. and Denyce (Ochampough) Crocker. Bob was a 1966 graduate of Paw Paw High School and excelled in Track and Cross Country. He served with the First and Third Marine Divisions, Infantry "LURP" near Route 1 and Route 9 in Vietnam. He received the Navy Achievement Medal with Combat "V", Bronze Star Medal with Combat "V" and the Purple Heart. He was employed at Western Michigan University in the maintenance and custodial departments. Bob was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter # 17 (Twin Cities) and enjoyed working outdoors and helping other veterans with needs. On May 10, 1975 in Paw Paw, Bob was united in marriage to Angela M. Pacula who survives. Also surviving g are son, Robert Joseph "RJ" (Kristine Borton) Crocker and their daughter Mykenzie; daughter, Amber Crocker and her children, Zachery and Nicholaus Zdzinicki all of Paw Paw; sister, Barbara (Jack)( Ribbens of Fennville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judy Holman. Private family services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan, or the American Lung and Emphysema Association . Arrangements by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
