Bob went home to be with his Lord Sunday, July 31, 2011. He was born October 2, 1943 in Mason, MI the son of the late Robert and Nora (King) Byrne. He was a 1961 graduate of Battle Creek Central and was employed for 14 years for United Steel and Wire Company in Battle Creek. In 1982 he went back to school and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University. Bob then worked as an accountant for Clark Equipment Company in Battle Creek. In 1991 he moved to Almena Township and opened Rainbow Video in Paw Paw, retiring in 2002. On September 18, 1975 in Battle Creek he was united in marriage to Marguerite Baker who survives. Also surviving are 2 step-children, Heather Casarez of Pennfield and John (Anne) Baker of Post Falls, Idaho; 2 granddaughters, Kimberly Casarez and Sydney Baker; brother, James Byrne. Bob also leaves his much loved dogs, Glory, Sunny, and Pappy. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or Kalamazoo Humane Society.
