Richard Eugene Miller, age 75, of Lawton, passed away April 24, 2016. He was born December 15, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Susan (Hoekstra) Miller, four children; Donna (Mark) Sherburn, Richard Jr. (Terrie) Miller, Joyceann (Jeffrey) Duffield and Sandy (Joe) Homola, grandchildren; Scott, Tiffany, Trevor, Brandy (Jason) Wheeler, Maria, Kyle and Ted Miller, Andrew, late Cody, Tyler, Joshua, Cameron and Brody Duffield, Sean (Danielle) Kean, Cassandra Hillhouse and Kaylee (Nick) Parker, Michael and Stephanie Profitt, Ashley Terpstra and Sidney Morris, six great grandchildren; Colton and Preston Wheeler, Owen and Ethan Jackson, Sophia Gunther, great grandchild on the way, Jaxon Parker and Mason Kean. Richard proudly served his country in the Navy aboard 13 different ships, he worked as a Machinist for Sterns and Staffords for many years and then Waterlift. Along with working as a Machinist, Richard enjoyed farming on his farm in Lawton, he was awarded the Outstanding Young Farmer of the year, 1968-1969. Richard served as Trustee for the Paw Paw Eagles for many years and he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. In his spare time, Richard was an avid sportsman and outdoors man, he especially enjoyed fishing and bowling. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 p.m., at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Ave., Paw Paw, where a Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow on Friday, April 29, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church, Paw Paw, with Fr.
