Richard passed away April 5, 2020 at home with his wife Jackie by his side. Richard was born August 15, 1930, the son of late Albert and Alice (McGillen) Hall. Richard was a lifelong resident of Mattawan, he went to Mattawan school and graduated in 1949.
Richard served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a combat medic with the 45th.divison.
Richard worked at Gibson Guitar Co. there he met his future wife, Jackie. He also worked for Aero Motive.
Richard and Jackie were married for 54 years, they had one child Janet. Richard liked to go camping,fishing and sightseeing in the U.P. In his spare time he liked to read ,watch old movies,listen to big band music. He was very mechanically inclined and willing to help anyone at any time. Richard was preceded in death by his daughter, Janet, his parent's Albert and Alice Hall and his in law's Gene and Lorraine Statler. Richard is survived by his wife Jackie, his grandson's Dylan and Connor Hall, and his extended family.
Richard was a lifetime member of the VFW Celery City Post 6248.

A full Military Service put on by the American Legion of Paw Paw, will be held on June 20, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Red Arrow Highway, Mattawan, MI 49071.
