Dick passed away suddenly on December 6, 2011 due to complications from Parkinson's disease. Dick was born on December 26, 1948 in Ludington, MI the son of the late Lloyd and Lelia (Willis) Barnett. Dick earned his Bachelor's degree in printing and owned the R.B. Printing Company in Mattawan for 35 years. He was a long time member of the Mason's in Mattawan where he recently received the Mason of the Year for 2012. Dick loved photography and was a huge animal lover. He also enjoyed spending time working on his genealogy. In March of 1969, Dick married the love of his life, Laurie (Harris), who survives. Also surviving are a son, Tom (Nikki) Barnett; grandchildren, Gracie and Noah Barnett; brother, Donald (Betty) Barnett; sister, MaryLou Klemm ; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, David Barnett and brother-in-law, Norm Klemm. Family will receive friends on Saturday (12/10) from 9-10 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a memorial service will follow at 10 a.m., Rev. Joe Spackman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA or the Michigan Parkinson's Foundation.
