Renoma Elizabeth Westphal, 71, of Gobles, passed away March 24, 2022 at her home.
She was born January 3, 1951 in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Harry Brooks and Aileen (Berciunas) Brooks.
On June 5, 1970 Liz married Richard H. Boyer who preceded her in death October 16, 2001. She later was united in marriage to Larry Westphal August 15, 2009 who passed away December 12, 2013. Liz was also preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Bosker and Connie Maston and her brother, John Paul Brooks.
She is survived by her three sons, Alan (Julie) Boyer, Carl Boyer and Daniel (Jessica) Boyer; one sister, Helen (Bruce) Bargas; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Liz was an accomplished musician, focusing her skills on the accordion. She was also an excellent crafter, making many creative pieces from knitting, crocheting and sewing. She was an avid square dancer and also had a love for the outdoors. Liz went on many camping adventures and enjoyed fishing. She always looked forward to spending time with her loving family and many friends over the years. In her retirement, Liz enjoyed spending time traveling.
Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. Cremation will follow. Liz will be placed to rest at Cooper Township Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. 1540 E. Hospital Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48109.
