of Portage passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 10 at the Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Rachel was born on January 31, 1987 in Kalamazoo, MI to Carl and Joanne Randles. She was a graduate of Galesburg-Augusta High School, where she excelled in tennis. She also had a passion for photography, as well as music. Rachel spent a lot of time enjoying social networking, where she was able to keep up with all of her dear friends. Surviving are her parents, Carl and Joanne Randles; brother, Carl Randles; maternal grandparents, Edward and Elsie Ignacek; paternal grandmother, Esther Randles; several aunts, uncles and cousins; a very special friend, Brandi Ratliff. She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Carl Randles, Jr. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 15 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where funeral services will be held on Friday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Graves ' Disease Foundation.
