Philip Emil Rotzien

Philip Emil Rotzien, Jr., age 67, of Paw Paw, passed away March 6, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Julie (Hendrickson), son, Jared (Allison) Rotzien, two granddaughters, Frances and Anawae Rotzien and his beloved canine friend, Ben. Philip is preceded in death by his father and mother, Philip Emil Rotzien Sr., and Bette (McCausland) Eller, his son, Philip Carl Rotzien, brother, Edward Rotzien and his father and mother in law, Raymond and Frances Hendrickson. Philip was born August 3, 1949 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was mechanically enclined and enjoyed finding solutions to any problem he was presented with. He and Julie owned Viking Sewing Center where he put his mechanical talent to use by servicing sewing machines. Phil was a skilled skeet shooter and enjoyed spending his time at the lake. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at one of Philip’s favorite places, Christie Lake, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the SPCA in his memory.
