Pat passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 14, 2011 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. She was born July 25, 1941 in Natrona, PA., the daughter of the late John and Ann Marie Kubla. Before moving to Michigan Pat was employed by Liberty Mirror in Brackenridge, PA. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw and enjoyed expanding her knowledge by reading American and military history, studying family genealogy and spending time with her grandsons.
On September 12, 1964 in Tarentum, PA., Pat was united in marriage to James A. Reed who survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters, Ann (Curtis) Murphy of Raleigh, NC, Dolores Quinlan of Portage, MI and Christine Reed of Paw Paw; 2 grandsons, James and Michael Quinlan; sister, Josephine (Ernest) Bozich of Pittsburg, PA; 3 brothers, John Kubla of Lower Burrell, PA, James (Carol) Kubla of Natrona Heights, PA and William Kubla of East Brady, PA; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by a niece Patricia Ann Bozich and a nephew, John Robert Kubla.
Family will receive friends Friday (6/17) evening 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a Vigil service will be held Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday (6/18) 12 noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Joseph Xavier Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, Paw Paw.
