Norma passed away Sunday evening, November 13, 2011 at Consulate Health Care in Winter Haven, FL. She was born September 3, 1910 in Montana and was the daughter of the late Ralph and May Thomas. Norma was an elementary school teacher in Lawrence until her retirement and had a passion for music and loved to play the organ. She was a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church, Paw Paw, member of the Gliddenberg Aid Society, and the Michigan Retired Teachers Association. On June 25, 1932 in Paw Paw, Norma was united in marriage to Robert F. Buskirk who preceded her in death on March 12, 1989. She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Buskirk on May 6, 1995 and a grandson, Eddie Buskirk on December 11, 21001. Surviving are a son, Ed (Danna Robbins) Buskirk of Hartford; daughter-in-law, Nancy Buskirk of Good Hart, MI; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday (11/18), 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Paw Paw. Interment will follow in Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Paw Paw or charity of choice. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
