Noma Mae (Hyde) Marcelletti

Noma Mae (Hyde) Marcelletti, age 98, passed away comfortably on October 22, 2016 at Maple Lake Assisted Living in Paw Paw, Michigan. Noma was born on January 3, 1918 in Cherokee County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of William and Amanda Hyde. On October 25, 1937 Noma married Patrick Q Marcelletti who preceded her in death in August of 1992. Also preceding her in was one son, Gerald (Jerry) Marcelletti in April 2007. Noma moved from North Carolina to Kalamazoo at a young age and was employed by the Kalamazoo Laundry. After marriage, Noma moved to the family farm in Paw Paw where she since resided. Noma was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she was a past member of the alter society and also was a member of the Grey Ladies which was affiliated with Lakeview Community Hospital. She is survived by two sons, James (Anne) of Paw Paw, Thomas (Kathleen) of Mattawan, one daughter, Phyllis Moore of Mattawan. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jason (Elizabeth) Marcelletti of Climax, Clinton (Amanda) Marcelletti of Mattawan, Amanda (Mike) Roberts of Paw Paw, Christine Moore of Kalamazoo, and Kathleen (Phil) DeVries of Kalamazoo and three great-grandchildren, Megan and Abigail Roberts of Paw Paw and Gisella Marcelletti of Mattawan, along with many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. with Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 W Michigan Ave, Paw Paw. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home, with Father Joseph Xavier officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Paw Paw. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Hospice.
