Nancy passed away Monday, April 4, 2011 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born February 24, 1944 in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late Raymond and Virginia (Talanda) Egan. She was employed at Borgess Hospital in the Billing Department until her retirement in March of 2006. Nancy loved collecting quilts, Fenton art glass and enjoyed working in her yard. On March 9, 1962 in Tampa, FL Nancy was united in marriage to Jack Emmons who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Todd (Jill) Emmons of Longmont, CO and Shawn (Melissa) Emmons of Paw Paw; grandchildren, Jack and Joe Emmons, Jason and Ben Thomas, Hailey, London and Shane Emmons; 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Dennis (Sue) Egan of Portage and Rick Egan of Vicksburg; several nieces and nephews; very dear and close friends, Bill and Linda DeLoach of Lawrence. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie in 1963. Family will receive friends Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where Funeral services will be held on Friday, 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to West Michigan Cancer Center.
