Michelle Lynn (Rains) Bardin

Michelle Lynn Bardin, 39, of Fennville, MI, passed away on August 14, 2020 in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born on June 16, 1981 in Dowagiac, MI, daughter of Joseph Rains and Diane Zalewski.

Michelle worked at various different food places as a cook. She had a passion for food and she loved to cook for her friends and family. As a  youngster, Michelle enjoyed climbing trees, swimming, camping with the family, and being outside regardless. Michelle also enjoyed bowling, fishing, boating, going to amusement parks, and especially water parks with her kids and family. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, and friend. She drove to her kids all the way down to Florida to take in the ocean scene and the last family trip was to Yogi Bear. Michelle had a great relationship with Terry, her significant other. She was so brave, even in her illness, she fought a strong fight and she wanted to be here for her children. She was a beautiful person inside and out and she will be so very missed by all those who knew her.

Surviving is her Mother, Diane (Richard) Noneman of Vicksburg; Children, Angelica Bardin, Summer Bardin, and Joseph Bargo, all of Fenneville; Husband, Michael Bardin of Bloomingdale and his parents, Jo & Jerry Picardat; Significant Other, Terry Bargo, his sons, Chris and T.J., of Kalamazoo; Roger and Joan Bargo, who were like a second set of parents to her; Godparents, Joe and Pam Zalewski; and a host of other loving family and friends. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Rains, grandmother, Lucy Zalewski, and grandfather, Stanley Zaleswki.

A graveside service will be held at Glendale Cemetery on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 1:00PM. Interment will follow.
