Michael Dwain Louthan, age 72, of Lawton, MI, passed away February 3, 2016. He was born October 27, 1943 in Kalamazoo, MI, to the late George and Fran (Howard) Louthan. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Katherine Louthan of Lawton, three daughters; Connie (Kevin) Jacobs of Lawton, Tammy (David) Stanley of Lawton and Michelle (Paul) Tinkler of Gobles, one son, Bill (Barb) Louthan of Portage, seven grandchildren; Jason Jacobs of Lawton, David Tyler Clingenpeel, Melissa Clingenpeel and Brady Louthan all of Portage, Catrina Stanley of Lawton, Aerial Tinkler and Abbie Tinkler of Gobles, one great granddaughter, Jordan Goodrich of Portage and one sister, Carol Stewart of Portage. Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Louthan. Michael served his country in the Army, he was a member of the VFW in Kalamazoo. He retired from the Up John Company after 25 years of service. In his spare time, Mike enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and camping. He was an avid Detroit Tigers and Lions fan. Services for Michael will be held Monday, February 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park, 3941 S. Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo. The family request memorial contributions be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
