Mary Pierce, 77, of , Paw Paw, MI, passed away on May 9, 2020 in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born on July 8, 1942 in Kalamazoo, daughter of John and Josephine (Suszenski) Korabik Jr.
Mary graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School. She worked as a Stress Lab Technician at Lakeview Hospital retiring in 2006. Mary loved to live her life. She enjoyed her family, traveling, archeology, and in her earlier years, hunting and providing for her family. She adored the trips to National Parks and Las Vegas with Harley. She lived for her grandchildren, and especially cherished the time spent with them on vacations and the memories that were made.
Surviving is her Husband, Harley Pierce, Jr.; Children, Carl Tokarchick, Walter (Paula Sauer, her son, Aiden Hursey) Tokarchick, Stefan (Dawn Grandy) Tokarchick, Kerry (John) Gose; 14 Grandchildren, (Corbin, Megan, Jacob, Ryan, and their mother, Carolyn Smak), (Kyle, Olivia, and their mother, Kristen Schincariol Tokarchick), Stefan, Holly, Heather, Carter, Lauren, Andrew, Kylie, and two Great-Grandchildren, Hudson and Harvey; Brothers, Mike (Marge) Korabik and John Korabik; one niece, one nephew, and many other loving family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her Parents, her first Husband, William B. Tokarchick, a Son, William B. Tokarchick Jr., and a Brother, Carl Korabik.
Friends and family will be received at the United Methodist Church of Paw Paw, 420 W. Michigan Ave., on Saturday, July 11, 2020, beginning at 10:00 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am with Rev. David Small officiating. Those who attend will need to practice social distancing and use proper precautions. Internment has taken place in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Paw Paw.
