Mary passed away Friday afternoon, September 30, 2011 in Kalamazoo. Mary was born on November 21, 1930 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of the late Homer and Leola Pease. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Michael) Randall, Brenda Gower and Jeanne (Patrick) Arnold; sons Anthony Gower, Theodore (Karen) Gower and Michael Gower; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several brothers and sisters and a very special friend, Charlene Grisson. Mary was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Louis Gower; her 2nd husband, Oliver Kniss; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Family will receive friends on Monday, October 3 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with her son in law, Patrick Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lawton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Great Lakes Hospice Care.
