Mary Letha Fuller

September 27, 1938 — June 5, 2024

Kalamazoo

Mary Letha Fuller, 85, of Kalamazoo, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, June 5, 2024, at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo.

She was born September 27, 1938, in McLeod, Texas, the daughter of Bedford Steve Terry and Gladys (Norman) Gibbs.

Mary could often be found tending to her gorgeous garden and quietly watching the wildlife outside of her window, especially the colorful birds and graceful deer. She lived in the bayou of Louisiana for a time with her late husband, John. Every morning, they would venture out to go fishing and enjoy the serene setting of being on the water. She owned a wide variety of cookbooks and loved experimenting with new recipes. Cooking was one of Mary's favorite things to do. Her infamous crawfish boils will be greatly missed by her friends and family. She liked to unwind by doing her daily crossword puzzles and playing Spider Solitaire on her computer. Mary had many titles throughout her 85 years, but by far her favorites were Mom, Grandma John, Grandma Doot and Mema.

She is survived by her two daughters, Joy (Richard) Cagle and Caroline (Ron) Potter; two sons, William (Toni) Lasinski and Robert (Valerie) Lasinski; twenty beloved grandchildren, Brandie Lasinski, Kim Conolly, Jaime (Brock) Payne, Jason (Lindsay) Conolly, Erik (Michelle) Conolly, Adam Smith, Jedediah Smith, Jared Czuk, Taylor (David Imus) Czuk, Olivia (Brad) VanDyke, Sarah (Brett) Zabaski, Jenny (Shane) Lasinski, Casey (Todd) Hackenberg, Jessica (Scott Beltz) Reits, Kelsey (Felix) Reyna, Connor Potter, Jeffrey Lasinski, Robert (Jade) Lasinski Jr, Stephanie (Ryan) Jackson and James Lasinski; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Anita (David) Steele; step-daughter, Jerri (Frank) Dickseski, step-son, John (Terri) Fuller Jr and step-grandchildren, Julia Dickseski, Evan Fuller and Matthew Fuller and many beloved nieces and nephews.
