Will passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at this home in Paw Paw. He was born October 27, 1955 in Hillsdale, MI the son of the late Orris W. and H. Silvia (Vollick) Porter. Will was a Tool & Die Maker and was a gifted musician and played many instruments in High School. He loved music, electronics, repairing guitars, and studying the Bible. Surviving are a son, Lee William (Angela) Porter of Angola, IN; 2 sisters, Karen Milligan of Appleton, WI and Vera E. Tanier of Kalamazoo; brother, James William Porter of Paw Paw; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert William Porter. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Church of God in Christ located at 106 East St. Mary's Street, Decatur, MI. There will be light food following the memorial Service for friends and family. Memorial contributions may be made to Van Buren County United Way. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
