She was born in 1932 Paw Paw, to the late Charles McKee and Frances (Webb) McKee.
Marilyn was a dedicated wife and mother, she took meticulous care of everything around the home. She also assisted her husband Arnold, with bookkeeping at the Harvey Ford Dealership. Her steadfast love for the holidays did not go unnoticed. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and it showed with her detailed decorating, leaving no stone unturned. The grandchildren always looked forward to Christmas at grandma's house. Her holiday meals were just as perfect as her decorations. Not only did her family treasure her meals, but she also shared her cooking with the Paw Paw Fire Department from time to time at their monthly meetings. For many years, Marilyn donated her time to Paw Paw Township where she worked the election polls. She was also a member of the Eastern Star where she was Worthy Matron, and a Cub Scout Den Mother. She also enjoyed fishing and the many fishing adventures with their large groups of friends in earlier years.
Later when Arnold retired from the dealership, Marilyn and Arnold enjoyed traveling in their motor home around the country. Many winters were spent in Florida. When at home, she enjoyed reading John Grisham books, making crafts that she sold at local craft shows and tending her flower garden and mowing her 3.5 acre yard, a task she continued until last fall. On September 20, 1950, in Paw Paw, Marilyn married Arnold B. Harvey who preceded her in death July 23, 2016.
