Marilyn Ann French, 86, of Lawton, passed away on June 19, 2020 in Kalamazoo. She was born on July 30, 1933 in Kalamazoo, MI, daughter of William and Iryna (Simigielski) Perry.
Marilyn attended Kalamazoo Central High School and worked for Welch's in Lawton for 33 years until her retirement. She married the love of her life, Clifford French, on November 3, 1951. Affectionately known as "The Boss," Marilyn was an avid bingo player and cook, often pulling recipes from one of her many cook books. She adored her family and was fearless in defending them whenever she needed. Marilyn wanted nothing more than for her family and friends to be healthy, happy, and together.
Surviving are her Daughters, Deborah (late Robert) Shephard, Cheryl (Doug) Maggert, and Brenda (Roger) Smith; Grandchildren, Gregory Fischer, and Sean (Kate) Maggert; Great-Grandchildren, Maddie and Connor Maggert. Marilyn was preceded in death by her loving Husband of 67 years, Clifford Lee French, Son, Dennis R. French, her Parents and her Brother, David Perry.
Services and burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Lawton, on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m..
