Manzy Omega Rogers

Manzy Omega Rogers, 76, of Lawton, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2023, at his home in Lawton.

He was born July 31, 1946, in Manila, Arkansas, the son of Robert Rogers and Sada (Mason) Rogers.

Everyone knew Manzy could be counted on when needing just about anything repaired. from their car to simple things around the house, he could handle it all. He had a fun and witty personality, always providing a clever or funny remark to things. He loved playing cards, going hunting and fishing and especially NASCAR racing.

On March 8, 1968, he married Lucille Mansfield Rogers who survives.

He is also survived by his two daughters, Paula Nappier and Vicky (Rick) Cochran; son, Richard Rogers; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one brother,Verlin  Rogers; his cousin, Pat Rogers, along with many nieces and nephews.

Manzy was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelia Datema, one grandchild, brother, Darrell Rogers and his cousin, Odis Rogers.

Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held.
