Mae Marie Young (Johnson), age 87, of Lawton, MI, passed away August 4, 2015.Mae was born September 16, 1927 in Crystal Falls, MI, to the late Joseph and Laura Verville. She is survived by her four children; Karen (William) Imus, Linda (Steve) Chowns, Sidney Johnson and Timothy Johnson, one sister, Dolores Butler, grandchildren; Donald C. Bielecki Jr., Lynn Bielecki, David Imus, Elizabeth Chowns, Thomas "Boogie" (Angela) Chowns, Sidney Roy Johnson, Kasey Johnson and Kara (Del) Whittington, 12 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Johnson in 1977, son in law, Donald C. Bielecki, along with seven sisters and three brothers. Mae retired from Kingman Unified School District after working as a custodian for many years, she was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary in Kingman AZ. In her free time, Mae enjoyed walking, collecting Holstein Dairy Cows, and most of all, helping those in need. Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 500 Paw Paw, St., Paw Paw, where mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Joseph Xavier officiating. Burial will follow at Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Gospel Missions, or to the charity of your choice.
