Lawrence Joseph Uhlir

Lawrence Joseph Uhlir, 64, of Paw Paw, passed away Monday April 27, 2020.
He was born June 23, 1955 in Hastings, Michigan, the son of the late Joseph Lawrence Uhlir and Frances R.(Grudecki) Uhlir.
On April 23, 1983, in Paw Paw, at Trinity Lutheran Church, he married Anita Elam Uhlir who survives.
Larry is also survived by his brother, Dennis Uhlir.
Larry enjoyed playing the guitar in the Praise Band at Trinity Lutheran Church for may years. He was known for being the king of "retrofitting" parts, especially for local farmers repairs to their equipment. Larry was known for his dry and quiet wit. When asked what attracted him to his wife his reply was 'her similar sense of insanity." Larry and Anita recently celebrated 37 years of marriage, many of laughs and working through life's bumps.
Due to current health conditions, there will be a public memorial service held at a later date.
