Larry Dean Sparks

Larry Dean Sparks, 43, of Lawton, passed away Monday December 27, 2021 at Bronson Hospital.

He was born May 30, 1978 in Paw Paw, and was raised by his mother Diane Marie (Ibbotson) Bowman and his step-father Jesse Bowman whom survive. He was preceded by his father Larry Dean Sparks and his grandparents, James and Pauline Ibbotson.

Larry was a hardworking family man that was a true provider for his family. He was the owner of DC Trees and worked long hours and in all weather conditions. When a friend was in need, Larry would be right there to help. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He would often make the comment that he "wished he could make a career out of fishing". His many jokes and his outgoing personality drew people to Larry. The children flocked to him and enjoyed the many pranks he would pull on them. He enjoyed watching his sons play sports and together they enjoyed watching football, spending time with his daughter and watching wrestling with his nephews. He enjoyed many gatherings with family and friends, stemming from pig roasts to all around fun outdoors. Larry was a true social butterfly.

On, October 20, 2000, he married Kristal Sparks who survives.

He is also survived by his two sons, Zack (Kimberly Barnett) Sparks and Koby Sparks; one daughter, Kreann Sparks; two grandchildren, Brookelynn Kelly and Alora Sparks; four brothers, Justin Sparks, Chason Sparks, George Bowman and Jacob Bowman; one sister, Christa (Donnie) Barron and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 5, 2022, beginning at 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. A life celebration will take place at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Hefflin officiating. Interment will follow at Harrison Cemetery, Decatur.
