Larry Matthew Gilley

Larry Matthew Gilley, 56, of Paw Paw, passed away Saturday December 25, 2021.

Born in Amarillo, Texas, September 7, 1965,  the son of William Edward Gilley and Charlene (Pulliam) Fialkowski. Larry attended Lawton Schools and was a graduate of Lawton High School. Having a strong work ethic, Larry was employed at a variety of different places throughout his career. Some of these places include WKW Extrusion, Production Tooling and WDP. He was quite the outdoorsman, his family and friends would say fishing was his favorite pastime, no matter what time of the year it was. He also enjoyed hunting, racing and rodeos. Attending auctions is something that Larry loved to do. He always said that he wanted to be an auctioneer at some point. Larry also enjoyed the hobby of rock collecting. Larry will be missed by his loving family and many friends. Although his passing leaves us in sorrow, he was able to give the gift of life to others by donating to those in need.

Larry is survived by his wife, Teresa (Meinema) Gilley, his mother and step-father, Charlene (Dan) Fialkowski, his two sons, Justin (Emily H.) Gilley and Josh (Holly J.) Gilley; two bonus daughters, Megan Gerike and Christina (Steven S.) Gerike; six grandchildren, DeMarrion Stacy, Zackery Gilley, Madison Gilley, Alaiyah Stacy, Evelynn Gilley and Henry Gilley; his fur babies at home, Remi and Cooper, as well as his grand dog, Apollo; one sister, Marcia (Matt) Fisher; one brother, Mark Gilley; four step-brothers, Danny Fialkowski, Don (George) Fialkowski, David Fialkowski and Robert (Sean) Fialkowski; step-sister, Diane (Albert) Rostin along with many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, William Gilley, his grandparents and his fur babies, Gabbie and his beloved Rocky.
Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, January 8, 2022, beginning at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.  at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave, Paw Paw. There will be a celebration of life to follow at 12:00 pm with Martha Burkett officiating. Following services there will be a reception held at the American Legion McGowan-Johnson Post 68, 115 North Niles Street, Paw Paw. The family requires that all in attendance of either event, wear a mask and practice social distancing.
