Kurtis Lee Yoder

Kurtis Lee Yoder was a quiet and humble man who at the same time was friendly to all and never had a bad word to say. He was born August 11, 1960 in Union City, Indiana and throughout his childhood moved to several towns in Indiana, as his father was often transferred for work. The family relocated to Marengo, Illinois where Kurt graduated from high school. While in high school, Kurt was in band and focused on the drums. He also was active and ran track. Eventually Kurt made his way to Michigan where he settled and enjoyed working with computers and exploring his interest in Sci Fi.

Kurt  passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 at the age of 61 at Bronson Hospital.

He is survived by his two brothers, Kyle (Lynn) Yoder and Ken (Pam) Yoder; one daughter, Krysten Yoder; one son, Adam Yoder; three grandchildren, Kamden Yoder, Tod Yoder and Janae Yoder; three nephews, Brent Yoder, Ryan Yoder and Tyler Yoder; two nieces, Tabitha Yoder and Alicia (Phil) Herman.

Kurtis was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe Yoder and Jane Mae (Armstrong) Yoder along with his sister, Kathie Yoder-Miller.

Per Kurt's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a private memorial gathering held at a later date.
