A devoted husband, father, son and brother, Keith Oxley was a hardworking man that enjoyed life and having fun. Born in South Bend, Indiana, and raised in Lawton, Keith lived his life to the fullest. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1991. Keith was involved in sports from a young boy. He played varsity football throughout high school and also ran track and played basketball. Keith was awarded the Vaughn Cornish Award and was part of the Mile Relay Team that set both a school record and state record in 1988. Following high school, Keith went on to work various jobs and moved to Florida where he attended Edison State College in Fort Myers. Upon his return to Michigan, Keith ultimately decided that he was going to be his own boss. He started his own landscaping business, All Season Lawn Care and Maintenance and has enjoyed over 25 successful years in business. Having an interest in education and teaching, Keith returned to Western Michigan University where he graduated in 2004 earning a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Although he enjoyed his time student teaching and coaching, he decided to stay on his career path as a business owner.
Being an avid sportsman, it was no surprise that he was a Detroit Lions fan. Keith was full of life and you might say he was a "big kid at heart". He would do anything to help people out. He was very good with children like the time he decided to grow his hair out so he could make a donation to Wigs for Kids. He was hoping to make another donation in the near future. Keith was united in marriage to Nancie Corum on January 1, 2011. His soulmate from the moment he met her, together they traveled the world, remodeled their family homestead, shared a love to support their community and absorbed all things in life in regards to Robbie and Emilie. Keith enjoyed many trips to the Upper Peninsula to the family cabin and spending time at Gravel Lake, where he spent his summers with his grandparents.
