Kayla Marie Gillette

Kayla Marie Gillette, 30, of Paw Paw, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at home in Paw Paw. 

She was born September 21, 1994, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Steven Gillette and Katherine (Johnson) Gillette.

Kayla was a kind and gentle soul. She loved all animals but really had a soft spot for kitties. She had many hobbies, spanning from collecting things, to arts and craft projects. Kayla loved her family and enjoyed many trips to various places over the years. She always looked forward to time with her grandparents. One of her favorite things to do was making "barn popcorn" with her grandfather in his barn. 

In addition to her parents, Kayla is survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth (Genevieve) Johnson and Jerry (Janice) Gillette.
