Kay Carol Munson Polomcak, 83, of Decatur, MI, passed away Sunday July 4, 2021 at her home.
She was born June 22, 1938 in Cassopolis, Michigan, the daughter of the late Harold Ball and Ila (Stevens) Ball.
Kay enjoyed working with children. Prior to her retirement she worked with special needs children, taking care of them on the weekends and helping provide for them. She always maintained a clean home and enjoyed reading. In earlier years, she enjoyed camping with the family and watching football games.
On August 31, 1957, she married Joseph Polomcak who survives.
She is also survived by her three sons, Wayne (Deanna) Polomcak, Dale (Jill) Polomcak, Dean (Melissa) Polomcak; two daughters, Annette (Martin) Lonsbery and Donalee Polomcak; six grandchildren, Shannon (Andrew) Meacham, Megan (Dan) Hurley, Stefanie Polomcak, Pierce (Becca) Lonsbery, Nolan (Hannah) Polomcak and Kelsey Polomcak; six great-grandchildren, three sisters, Linda (Jim) Wills, Laura (Pat) Geegan and Elaine (Mike) Rawlins.
Kay was preceded in death by her brother, Lee Munson, her great-grandchild, Aspen Polomcak and her daughter in law, Pamela Polomcak.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 9, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Decatur Bible Church, 80797 M-51, Decatur, where a memorial service will commence at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve DeGroft officiating. Interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery at a later date.
