Judy passed away peacefully Saturday morning May 10, 2014 at Sunrise of Cascade in Grand Rapids. She was born August 15, 1944 in Providence, RI the daughter of the late Warren and Marion (Doescher) Hall. Judy was a graduate of Paw Paw High School class of 1962 and received her Master's in Psychology at Western Michigan University. Judy spent her life helping others at Van Buren County Mental Health as a social worker and friend. She loved to play bridge with her dear friends and spend time with her grandkids. Judy was a sweet soul who never had anything bad to say about anyone. She was a strong single mom who always did the best she could with what she had. We are happy she is pain free, but she is deeply missed by those left behind. She joined her mother Marion Doescher Hall, Dad, Warren Dyer Hall and brother George W. Hall in heaven. Surviving are, daughter, Heidi (Dave) Hall-LaPlante of Ada, MI; her loving grandchildren, Emma, Chloe and Dawson; 2 sisters, Susan Johns Folsom, CA. and Nancy Brandenberg of Marcellus; brother, Stephen Hall of Austin, TX; nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends, Friday, (5/16) 1 to 2 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held following visitation at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow services. Memorial contributions may be made to Gilda Club of Grand Rapids.
