passed away at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 3, 2012 following a brief illness. Joe was born December 30, 1963 in Weslaco, Texas, the son of the late Eulogio and Rafaela (Zamarripa) Tovias. Joe had a great love for life and traveling the world. He enjoyed anything outdoors, including hunting, fishing and boating. He also loved hanging around the bon-fire with his family. If he was with his family, Joe was happy. On May 7, 2004 in Kauai, Hawaii Joe was united in marriage to the love of his life, Cheryl (Neville) Tovias, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Tony (Loretta) Jacobs, Erin Jacobs and Michael Tovias; grandchildren, Ariah, Kenley, Karsyn and Kaelyn; several brothers and sisters; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to invite you to Joe's Hawaiian themed celebration of life on Thursday (6/7) from 11:00am-1:00pm, at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where funeral services will be held at 1:00pm. Please leave your suits and ties at home and come dressed in your Hawaiian attire to celebrate Joe's life with us all!
