John McDonald Jr.

John Joseph McDonald, Jr., age 63, passed away April 28, 2018 at his home in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  John was born in Oak Park, Illinois to John and Maureen (Flanagan) McDonald on January 26, 1955. He was united in marriage to Carole Cooper on November 21, 1979 in Michigan City, Indiana. John is survived by his wife of 38 years and their 3 sons Sean, Terry (Teresa) and Kevin; his 4 brothers Robert, James, William (Mary) and Thomas (Glen); his mother Maureen, his God-mother and beloved aunt Colleen Chapline and may other aunts, uncles and cousins. John was preceded in death by his father John.

John attended St. Norbert’s College in De Pere, Wisconsin and had a successful career as a Financial Advisor for Ameriprise. He was a life-long Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed spending time with his family on the Florida beaches.

A private memorial service is being held at a later date.
