passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family early on Sunday, April 22, 2012. JoAnna was born July 8, 1932 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of the late Clyde and Mildred (Johnson) Bergeon. JoAnna had many hobbies and interests, some of which included shopping, bowling and cooking. She also loved going to casinos and traveling, where she collected plates from each state and country she visited along the way. More than anything else, she loved her family. She was the glue that held them all together and will truly be missed by them all. In April of 1971, JoAnna was united in marriage to her loving husband of over 40 years, George Justice, who preceded her in death in 2011. She was also preceded by a sister, Betty Mulligan and sister-in-law, Nellie Bergeon. JoAnna is survived by 5 daughters, Julie (Joe) Soudek, Cheryl Butler, Patricia Kendall, Terry Slayton and Billie Phillips; 9 grandchildren, Tammy and Traci (special caregivers), Chris, Tommy, Heather, Shawn, Troy, Justun and Jonathon; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Charles Bergeon; special nephew, Richard (Cindy) Bergeon; several nieces and nephews, special caregiver, Valda. She also leaves behind her faithful companion, Annie. Family will receive friends on Wednesday (4/25) from 6:00-8:00pm at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, and again on Thursday from 12:00-1:00pm, where funeral services will follow at 1:00pm, Rev. Joe Spackman officiating. Interment will follow at the West Oshtemo Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
